Pumpkin Patch

Before Kinley's started school, we went to the open house meeting where we were given all the important dates for the year. One of the biggest and most important dates listed was the field trip day to the pumpkin patch! The trip was originally scheduled for Thursday October, 14th...Which translates to THE DAY BEFORE JADE'S WEDDING to most of my readers and ME. So I turned in the paper work the first week of school regretfully declining the field trip all together.

The week before the set date, teachers were getting worried about having bad weather the day of the trip. They said they would reschedule it if there was bad weather and so Kinley and I started praying for rain!...Even if that meant for a less than comfortable plane ride from here to Orlando to Austin (thank you Southwest Airlines for flying us all over before finally reaching our destination).

The Wednesday before the planned Thursday outing, Katia's mom (Katia is Kinley's best friend at school, and "the one with big bows," that I've been on the hunt for recently, invited us to ride with them to the Pumpkin patch. Kinley was so upset we weren't getting to go...

Then Wednesday after school we got a call from Kinley's teacher saying they've already rescheduled for the following Tuesday! Yippee!!! Even though we would be getting in past midnight the Monday night after the big wedding weekend, you better believe we would be there! I quickly called the preschool and arranged for us to come...THEN...this is the best part...
I called Katia's mom and we got to ride with them!!!!!!

Kinley had a blast with Katia and at the pumpkin patch and luckily, everything worked out in our favor.
